PNN with Jeanine Molloff and Rick Spisak - Environmental Racism

This week's Sunday show focuses on the topic of environmental racism. Our Executive Producer and creator interviewed long time advocate Jeannie Economos from the Farmworkers Association. Economos explains how little policies have changed between the Trump and Biden administrations. The issue of environmental racism, (and increased racism in general), under DeSantis is also discussed. That is our first story.

Next, I will discuss the release of environmental attorney Steven Donziger, from an unconstitutional home detention issued by an ethically compromised federal judge. Donziger won a lawsuit against fossil fuel giant Chevron for the indigenous peoples of the Ecuadorian Amazon. He won a $9.5 billion dollar settlement against Chevron for its premeditated pollution of the Amazon rainforest. Chevron used their army of corporate attorneys to destroy Donziger, while refusing to pay a cent. This is our second story.
