This Sunday, I will continue the series on Donald Trump as a Russian asset. Going back to The Moscow Project, Chapter 3 is titled 'Cultivating an Asset 2009-2013, How Donald Trump became the perfect candidate for Russia's assault on American democracy.' The Moscow Project is part of an initiative of the Center for American Progress.
Our second story is about the Russian war against the people of Ukraine, and how the arms industry is profiting. There is evidence to support the accusation that NATO leaders saw Russian aggression as a profit opportunity, based on an article published in Truthout.
Finally, our Jackass of the Week Award goes to Indiana Republican Senator Mike Braun, who not only made a fool of himself at Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's SCOTUS hearings. Braun stated that he thought the SCOTUS should revoke the Lovings decision which legalized interracial marriage. Furthermore, Braun went on to make statements against SCOTUS decisions that legalized interracial marriage, but also against the right to birth control.
