PNN Writers Globe - oh those writers they get a round in fact they KNOW no Sphere producer and host Rick Spisak welcomes these amazing guests.
?PNN celebrates another fantastic POSTING from our Senior Political Commentator Brook Hines And We bring ?one new guest a writer and editor and POET Jordan Rice who will share her poems with us.“Jordan Rice’s Constellarium summons the pleasure and perils of the body, the rhetorical and physical damages it can endure. She rescues childhood from memory and makes real again the moments that make or obscure us. Unlike so many contemporary elegies, these poems do not chronicle losses with tepid nostalgia, they bend time to lead you to griefs at their most unpredictable, at the places most poems would look away. ?And we will welcome back Bänoo Zan a poet who joins us from her home in Canada where she has produced international poetry reading with poets from across the globe. WIth her roots in ancient Persia and her feet in Toronto she speaks both with a love of HUMANITY and a love of the written word. Bänoo Zan is a poet, translator, teacher, editor and poetry curator, with more than 120 published poems and poetry-related pieces as well as three books. Song of Phoenix: Life and Works of Sylvia Plath, was reprinted in Iran in 2010. Songs of Exile, her first poetry collection, was released in 2016 in Canada by Guernica Editions. It has been shortlisted for Gerald Lampert Memorial Award by the League of Canadian Poets in 2017. Join us for an amzing night of Writers from the POLITICAL POOLHALL to the Shores of the Atlantic and the cool north of Toronto
