Charles Widner is a Friona Texas native who has been painting and making custom baits for over 20 years. Charles has won three county fairs and is now competing in the state fair. His works has been featured on Rustic Outdoors and New Hope Fishing Lures. Charles has made huge contributions to Operation Phoenix Outdoors, where he has donated over 1,000 custom painted baits. He is also a counselor to veterans, first responders, disabled children, and wounded warriors and has been working with the military community for over 12 years. Charles's biggest goal in life is to help others and bring awareness to mental health and anything that supports and honors the men and women of the military.
