Jim Black is the founder of and lead researcher at Angel Eyes over Texas (AEovrT). In 2015 he was elected Vice-President of the Grandparents’ Rights Association of the United States (GRAUSA). Both organizations advocate for Family Rights on both state and Federal levels.
Jim’s professional background was in neither Law nor Social Work, but instead as a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Automated Manufacturing Systems. In 32 years he worked specialty contracts for more than 52 enterprises covering such areas as Petrochemical, Oilfield Production, Offshore Drilling, Cardiac Surgical Instruments, Automotive, Aerospace and numerous other fields in between. His experience was not only varied but it provided him to a very diverse set of management skills.
His exposure to CPS began with his own children in 1992. With various bouts with them in 1994 and 1997. In 2000 and 2001 he began dealing with them over his grandchildren. But it was not until 2009 and they were removed that his real battle began.
Early in the case he began noticing inconsistencies in how the Texas system was designed and how it was managed. In 2010, AEovrT was created to research and break down the mechanics of how the system has failed. By taking an Engineering approach to the system he is able to separate emotion from facts and present truly logical remidies.
