Author and Book Cover Designer Debi DeSantis

Debi DeSantis is an award winning book cover designer as well as author. She is originally from Bensalem, Pennsylvania just outside of Philadelphia, but now lives on the west coast of Florida with her husband of 22 years and teenage son. Some of her vices are travel, making crafts, spending time with family and doing anything creative.

After publishing numerous poems, Debi won a couple of awards and was asked to travel to Washing DC to accept her award. This gave her the green light for finishing her dusty manuscript which she decided to title....She Cries in the Dark. Using some of her own life experiences as well as lots of imagination, her book was born. Debi decided to self publish after many attempts at the large publishing houses. She was well aware of the low chance that a traditional publisher would welcome her with open arms. Debi went on the road and participated in book signings at the big book stores to try to get her name out there. Then with social media becoming such a huge outlet for indie authors, joined the band wagon and uses her website as well as her facebook page to let others know about her writing and cover designing.
