Mike Ealy started investing in real estate by "house hacking" a duplex back in 1999 (when it was called "getting a roommate"). Even though he lost everything back in 2002-2003 and had to re-start back from zero, Mike now owns over 1200 apartment units and 40+ houses - all in the Cincinnati area. He also buys hotels all over the country as he is partnered with a group of investors with a cumulative hotel holdings (under ownership and management) of over $1.8 Billion.

One of the casualties of the Covid 19 Lockdown are hotels - right now, it is estimated that 4,000 hotels are in default of their mortgages. Mike & his partner Nate recently set the goal of buying 100 hotels in the next 6 months.
