Join us this episode of Your World News with our special guests, members of the DC Chapter of the Black is Back Coalition. They will be joining us to discuss the upcoming November 1-2 “Peace Through Revolution” march and rally in Washington DC. Members of DC Black is Back will also delve into the urgency for African (black) people to be mobilized and organized, in solidarity, and within united fronts geared towards Social Justice, Peace and Reparations. This episode promises to educate, enlighten and empower those who are interested in changing the oppressive paradigm African people subsist within.
The Black Is Back Coalition for Social Justice, Peace and Reparations came together during Barack Obama’s first year in office, in large part to show that there were still lots of Black folks who understood that the struggle for self-determination and a new dispensation for all the world’s people is the real prize worth fighting for. The fact that the new president was Black did not alter in the slightest the demands put forward by the newly organized Coalition at its first rally and march on the White House, in November of 2009.
