Honoring the REAL MLK & Exposing US Hypocrisy of Democracy

Join us this episode as we honored Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., by discussing his legacy of work against imperialism, injustice, institutional racism, white supremacy, and capitalism. Dr. King, if he were alive today, would be one of the most outspoken critics of American wars of aggression in places like Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He would not support those wars or the politicians (like Obama), who orchestrate those wars. We also spoke with a student activist named Tim Baldauf-Lenschen who is a part of a group called Justice at Maryland Coalition (JAM). JAM is dedicated to ending workplace abuse on the campus of the University of Maryland such as racism, discrimination, sexual abuse and xenophobia.
