Magickal Activism Part 2 w/Leigha LaFleur

Grassroots organizer and magickal activist from Portland, Leight LaFleur returns to the show to discuss magickal activism at this very important time in herstory.  Her work within the system includes being a Bernie Sanders Delegate to the DNC Convention in 2016 (catch our interview in the archiv shortly after that event), two consecutive terms as the elected Chair of the Third Congressional District Committee for the Democratic Party of Oregon and she's currently running for her first government office, Metro Cuncilor in District 6 in Oregon's May 2020 primary.  Leigh will share her wisdom for working within the system, what this activism has to do with elected office, how she decided to run for office, if she's still "feelin' the Bern" and how her spirituality informs what she hopes to accomplish in elected office.  We'll delve into her perspective of the Green New Deal, the Sunrise Movement and climate activist Greta Thunberg....among other things.  Definitely a show about reconciling our spirituality and our politics - a MUST moving forward!
