Artemis/Indomitable Spirit in EveryWoman - Jean Shinoda Bolen

Artemis was the first model for women who lean in...competent, committed and athletic; she represents the kind of woman who partners well with men, knows her own strengths and talents and doesn't shy away from them.  Tonight we have with us Jean Shinoda Bolen, author of her newest book, Artemis: The Indomitable Spirit in EveryWoman, discussing the archetype of Artemis.  She'll illultrate how this archetype is showing up in mainstream American culture - and how women of all ages are drawing on Artemis' energy to spearhead social causes and champion change in unprecendented numbers.  These women are in it for the long haul.  They are indomitable!  WOW!  I think Jean just described all us women (and men) claiming our SACRED ROAR!  We'll also discuss Jean's contribution to the anthology I've edited, Voices of the Sacred Feminine: Conversations to ReShape Our World, wherein Jean's article is about how Circles are antidotes to terrorism!
