Archetypes, Fairy Tales & Divine Feminine w/Cathy Pagano

Fairy tales are the simplest experesion of archetypal patterns.  Junians love to work with fairy tales and myths to better understand our personal dream stories, which often reflect these archetypal themes.  While it seem as if many of our inherited fairy tales have a patriarchal bent, it is also true that these fairy tales show us how to deal with this overbearing patriarchal attitude.  Archetypal paterns self-correct, and so instead of Sleeping Beauty waiting for her prince to save her, these tales expressed what the Feminine Principle needs to learn to "do" (the masculine energy) to deal with the situation.  The heroines of these tales were, in fact, learning to save themselves.  That's the message we're seeing today in movies such as Maleficent and Frozen andon TV in Once Upon a Time.  Cathy will also share some stories about her favorite heras/heroines:  Scheherazade, Dame Ragnell and Allerleirauh.
