Zion is a specific, historically important location — the name refers to both a hill in the city of Jerusalem and to the city itself — but it's also used in a general way to mean "holy place" or "kingdom of heaven." The root of Zion is the Hebrew Tsiyon, and while the word holds a special importance in the Jewish faith .

Sion an imaginary place considered to be perfect or ideal. synonyms: Utopia, Zion. type of: fictitious place, imaginary place, mythical place. a place that exists only in imagination; a place said to exist in fictional or religious writings.

Traditionally used as a surname, Lyon means "lion" or "brave warrior." Journeying through history and originating in 7th century France, this name made its way to Britain and Ireland after the Norman conquest
