This week, we have TWO ongoing "Martian mysteries" to grapple with -- surrounding the continuing unmanned Perseverance mission.

The first: "why" has the pioneering "Ingenuity helicopter flight" -- originally rescheduled for last Sunday -- now been postponed ... TWICE?

Yes, I know what the NASA "explanation" is:

That a "computer timing error" caused a "safety hold" on the attempt to spin the helicopter's rotors up to full speed, abruptly cutting short a critical "pre-flight rotor test" before the attempted first flight ....

But, is that the REAL explanation for the continuing Ingenuity delays?

Or ... could it be that JPL suddenly "discovered" that something was "wrong" about the atmosphere of Mars itself ... as we've been pointing out, week after week ...?

Mystery number two:

Why has NASA continued to say NOTHING about its astonishing confirmation (after we brought it to JPL's attention, through this very radio program!) of "an ancient glass DOME" ... stretching over Percy's landing site, the ~30-mile-wide Jezero Crater!?

What are they waiting for ... the Chinese, after they land, getting to tell the world first!?

And, are both "Martian puzzles"...somehow ...  connected?
