"Time Capsules"

This week, it was reported out of Australia that a women -- walking on a beach one evening at low tide -- came across an old bottle, which when opened revealed the oldest "message in a bottle" ever recovered--132 years old!

A few weeks ago, Elon Musk launched his first Falcon Heavy "super rocket" into space, on a trajectory vaguely headed "toward Mars." 

The "payload" was  Musk's own, cherry-red Tesla Roadster!

Included in the "glove box," according to one of Musk's tweets, was another kind of "message in a bottle" -- a set of small quartz discs, billed as a kind of "space library/time-capsule" ... containing, we are told, the complete works of Isaac Asimov's classic (and extremely prescient) science fiction "Foundation Series."

My guest tonight, Dr. Joseph Farrell, has some provocative thoughts about what REALLY may be behind Elon's 21at Century "message in a bottle"... if not "ancient messages through time" in general.

I'll even share MY story ... of my own "interplanetary message in a bottle" that (with a little help from my friends, like Carl Sagan) I got NASA to actually send into space many decades ago ... which Gene Roddenberry then "blew up" in Star trek!
