Omar Qudrat was born and raised in Los Angeles to parents who emigrated from Afghanistan in the early 70's. He left California to attend law school and to serve our nation abroad and at home with the U.S. Department of Defense. He is not done serving yet, as he now hopes to represent the people of California's 52nd District. We will discuss his campaign to become the first Muslim to hold a Congressional seat as a Republican.
