The Trump administration has indicated that it has no problems with allowing states to impose work requirements in Medicaid, a major policy shift in the health program for low-income people. Federal officials said they would support state efforts to require able-bodied adults to engage in work or other "community engagement activities" as a condition of eligibility for Medicaid. Meanwhile, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced that New York will continue to provide some illegal immigrant Dreamers with access to government-run Medicaid insurance no matter what happens in Washington. State taxpayers will bear all costs for the coverage because federal law prohibits federal taxpayers from paying for illegal immigrants. The state also assured Dreamers their information won't be shared with federal immigration authorities. Dr. Myles Schneider, author of Restoring "Health" To Healthcare, will join me to discuss both of these developments.

During the last 2 decades, journalists and ideologues exploited media events in ways that created a worldview based on gynocentrism and misandry. In that atmosphere, courts and legislatures established systemic discrimination against men. This not only institutionalized misandry but also undermined the moral and democratic foundations of society. Dr. Paul Nathanson and Dr. Katherine Young challenge theories about patriarchy that ideological forms of feminism have promoted. Dr. Nathanson will join me to discuss his and Dr. Young's work and explain why we can expect some major pushback against the # METOO movement.
