In the modern world, women are often targets of violence. But females do not have to be victims. First, I'll be joined by pro 2nd Amendment activist and the creator of the website Girls Just Wanna Have Guns, Regis Giles and we'll talk about what women can do to defend themselves and avoid being prey. Next, I'll have an interview author and host of "The Cross in the Desert: Speaking hope and freedom to Iran." Randy L. Noble. His new book Finding Hope and a Future Maral's Journey to Freedom chronicles the inspiring tale of an Iranian woman who escapes the dangers of being a woman in a sharia-compliant nation. We'll discuss the fact that even in the face of what seems like insurmountable odds you can find a way. Then, keeping in mind that you can't protect anyone from a threat that no one recognizes, I will be joined by Kel Fritzi to discuss the uncomfortable topic of FGM. Female genital mutilation is a practice that has been largely ignored by politicians in the Western nations. This past week, however, arrests have been made in Detroit for committing this horrific act. It's a start, but it must be ended. All this and more as time allows. Listen live, join the chat room, be a part of the show.
