It's the first day of 2017 so let's start off with some positive stories. First we will talk about the actions of Carrie Stephenson, who by just doing her job, saved the life of Isaiah Griffin, a seventh grader. Then we'll talk about Daryl Davis and how he has fought hate and prejudice. Later we'll talk about the stir that Mike Rowe created when he said that we, as Americans, are spoiled. Also I have two stories from California, one older but worth revisiting and the other new and controversial. After that, the Second Amendment has a new enemy... the Social Security Administration? All that and more if time allows.
