Let’s Talk Jesus!

Jesus came to die for our sins on the cross and through repentance and faith in him, open the way for us to experience eternal life with the Father.

Romans 5:8 states, “God demonstrated his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”.

The only thing you need to do to experience Jesus’ life-transforming forgiveness and love is to humbly admit to Him that you need it.  Peter admitted he didn’t deserve to be with Jesus—and Jesus invited him to come.  The leper admitted that he was unclean—and Jesus cleansed him.  Levi knew that he was lost—and Jesus found him and called him.  The only people who weren’t called or healed were the Pharisees—and the only reason they weren’t was because they wouldn’t admit they needed it.  The attitude that insists that you’re not good enough, not religious enough, not together enough, not resourceful enough to fix yourself is what the Bible calls pride, and it is the one sin that is fatal.  Not even Jesus can heal you if you won’t admit you’re sick!

Following Jesus always involves sharing His love with others who need him. The moment you meet Jesus, He immediately gives you the privilege to do the most important thing anyone can do and that is to tell others about his love!  He may send you to people who are like you or he may send you to people very different from you. You may lead many people to Christ or you may sow seeds. Our responsibility is to embrace the privilege to follow Him and share His great love and message with others and leave the rest up to Jesus!
