Kick off to Black History Month 2020-

Black history is here and I'm proud to annouce I participated in a mock Academy Award ceremony at Nordstrom!  It was a closed event for the employees only and was a great success, thanks to the hard work of John Garner. John honored those that won an Oscar like,  Hattie McDaniel for supporting actress in Gone With the Wind.  I was honored to represent her in the cermonyy and Sidney Poitier for Lilly's in the Field . Other stars that have been nominated or  won an award    honored were, Denzel Washington, Lawrence Fishburne, Stevie Wonder, Oprah Winfrey, Diana Ross.  Common, just to name a few!
