Welcome to The Fly Girl Show 2019.
This year it is my mission to extend the spectrum of topics and guest to be interviewed on the show.
January 3, 2019 was the official swearing-in of the 116th Congress. The Congressional Black Caucus, which was established in 1971 and their mission was "to ensure African Americans....have the opportunity to achieve the American dream" and the legislative priorities included reforming the Crimmal Justice system and combating voter suppression. In a private ceremony, (proud to say I attended) which swore in its own group of members, and was the largest in history, 55 new members!
