Giving honor to the first African American stewardess to break color barrier

A beautiful, feisty, petite Negro ( the term used in 1956) young lady from New York had the desire to travel and see the world, when she applied for a stewardess job at Capital Airlines was refused because of the color of her skin.  Please tune in to hear how Ms. Patricia Banks Edmiston was not accepting anyone to take away her dream to become a stewardess. After many years in court (for discrimination) she won her case and opened the doors for me and  other African Americans the opportunity to fly for major and regional airlines.
