The Fox News Channel have reached a private settlement with the parents of slain Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich, in which the network had baselessly reported in May of 2017 that Seth Rich leaked thousands of Democratic party emails to WikiLeaks during the height of the 2016 campaign of presidency. Malia Zimmerman, a Fox Reporter, retracted the story 7 Days later without any evidence that the Democrats might be linked to the killing of 27 year old Rich but the crime that has not been solved to this day. A Fox spokesperson told NPR that Zimmerman is no longer with the network. The family said that the Fox News settlement closes another chapter in the mourning of their beloved Son. Seth Rich, has always been suspected of being killed in a clandestine crime due to the nature of his deep ties of insider information of the top brass of the DNC.
