Manafort took up to $19 million in payments to help shape the Ukranian government prior to 2016 election.  He also posed as Trump's campaign chairman which created a conflict of interest, leading FBI investigators to believe Manafort was trading favors with Russia in lieu of U.S. election interests to benefit Trump.
