But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.’  Ezekial 33:6

Today, Turkey arrested 440 Isis backers.  Their borders are in peril. Turkey has an unruly party that does not submit to the goverment along the Iran-Syria East border.   The government considers that to extend operations against the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which has resumed its armed campaign with demands of autonomy along its Iraq and Syria borders, could further alienate the people living in those regions. On the other hand, the PKK is not likely to give up the campaign.  They have been around for 40 yrs.

The PKK has Marxist-Leninist roots, was formed in the late 1970s. launching an armed struggle against the Turkish government in 1984, They wanted an independent Kurd state.

PKK is being targeted in a bigger Turkish security crackdown, following the botched 7/2016 coup attempt against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan by mutinous Turkish officers.
