Bill Maher: Spiritual Assassin: cultural impact is benign.

Laugh all you want, Bill.  Laugh while you can.  God doesn't need to send an iron rod down to wake you up as you laugh and hurl insults on Jerry Falwell, John Hagee and others.  Your own need to expolit is grazing over the kingdom of heaven.  You won't look as the serious side of religion on any level.  You won't examine the scripture or delve into the teachings of Jesus.  You will just continue to make comments on society and Christians who want to stand for any element of their religion.  I do not need to impose my wrath upon you as a Christian but I will point out what you are overlooking.  2000 plus years of church history, the beauty and prophecy of American professors and pastors I have come into contact with, the grace and power of Christ's words in actions.  Hear and be heard, Bill Maher.  But possibly listen to your flatline rhetoric that all religions suck because they don't.
