Why the Hamas cannot win the Battle for Israel

Israel has overpowered every enemy in battle since 1967,  In 1982, in Lebanaon, they had 100% success rate in air power.  The enemy had zero.  However, the solution for the region goes beyond squelching the enemy.  Long term peace must be planned.  The Gaza people feel hemmed in and stripped of their rights.  If they are threatened daily, they will yield to leadership that will rebelliously fight back for every inch of what has been taken for them.   How and when will the battle end?  What are the prophetic signs?  Does Israel have a choice on how they respond to Hamas?
