Our incomparable guest tonight is a 22 year retired employee of the Federal Bureau of Prisons! I know she has a lot to share. Let’s welcome Ms. Cynthia L. Baxter to the mic to speak to us tonight.
Born and raised in the Burroughs of South Coatsville Pennsylvania, Cynthia worked on the first established drug program for Veterans who were addicted to heroin returning from Vietnam, she has many tales to share. To her credits she recruited the first Black and youngest and only Director of the Bureau of Prisons who worked for our only Black President of the United States! With many more credits.
Cythina attended and graduated from Cheyney University (1837) the 1st HBCU (Historically Black College University) in the Nation, located in Pennsylvania!
She bubbles forth one fact after another as she describes her life memories.
Come listen with ears of understanding.
See you on the radio
