NOW WHAT?? WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE Hosted by STAR WATERS and SANDY RODGERS
Today’s broadcast features the works of one woman who is actively raising funds to establish farm land that will produce healthy foods for the poorer populations of Portland Oregon. Her name is AJ McCreary. She is the Co-Founder and Director of Equitable Giving Circle, a non-profit organization which directly impacts BIPOC (Black and Indigenous People Of Color) Communities.
The main goal is to secure land to create farms to grow emergency food for poorer communities in the Portland Oregon area. Already they financially contribute to CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) weekly produce of Brown and Black Farmers. They are working directly with the politicians and policy makers of Portland.
They have successfully raised $500,000.00 in 6 weeks and eagerly going forward towards their goal of $1,000,000.00 by August 2020.
See you on the radio – Join us and perhaps be inspired to produce something similar in your part of the world!! It is certainly needed everywhere!!
