THIS JOURNEY OF LOVE with AZIZA MILLER

New Yorker Aziza Miller, joins us in celebrating Jazz Appreciation Month. This seasoned musical director has touched the genres of funk, jazz, soul, Latin and spoken word. She is an accomplished author, actress and former teacher with New York’s Dept. of Education, was Alicia Keys' Mentor and High School music teacher.

Ms. Miller will discuss with us Great Ladies of Jazz, J to the A (and double the ZZ) songs/videos and her prized ‘This Journey of Love’. Aziza tributes Natalie Cole and Horace Silver on two cuts on her new music release. New York was the scene for her recent ‘3 Women Who Speak to my Soul – Roberta Flack, Tania Marie and Nina Simone.’
