Tonight on a special edition of Page One, we pay omage to the secular holiday known as Festivus. The holiday, celebrated on December 23rd as an alternative to the pressures and commercialism of the Christmas season was originally created by author Daniel O'Keefe and entered popular culture after it was made the focus of the 1997 Seinfeld episode 'The Strike' in which O'Keefe's son Dan O'Keefe co-wrote. Break out your unadorned aluminum Festivus pole as we celebrate in our own way with an 'Airing of Grievances" 'Festivus Miracles' and maybe even a 'Feats of Strength" contest.
