Patti Lucia is the owner of a unique cafe in downtown Lake Worth, Florida, called "Mother Earth Sanctuary Cafe." Her cafe combines a one-of-a-kind veggie burger menu and the.concept of conscious cooking in a cozy, whimsical and sensual environment which celebrates and holds sacred our connection to Mother Earth. She has been creating this cafe experience since 2007 when she originally opened as a coffeehouse. Before that, she spent more than 20 years as a high school English teacher. She hales from Springfield, Massachusetts, and lived in New York City for 15 years before moving to Florida in 2003. "After experiencing the events of 9/11 in New York City, I needed a quieter, greener place to live. My journey took me to Florida, surprisingly, but it was all meant to be. I discovered I belong here, doing exactly what I am doing right now. In a way, I have come home."
