However, in some families the dysfunction is rampant to the point that RESOLUTION seems almost impossible. Is some of the CONFLICT simply a failure to communicate, or how does underlying JEALOUSY or SELFISHNESS block RESOLUTION? Do some family members take advantage of FAMILY TIES in order to ask for FORGIVENESS? Are there times when it is best to take a break or cut ties all together, even from family?
