This week INSECURE's creator and star, ISSA RAE set off a firestorm when asked who is she rooting for at the Emmy's and she replied "EVERYBODY BLACK..." While this makes sense to a large portion of the AFRICAN-AMERICAN community, many were shocked to hear it said so BOLDLY and others were proud of the fact she did. Immediately afterwards RAE was labled a RACIST. Is the term being fairly applied to Rae's statement? America seemed to express the same sentiments during PRESIDENT OBAMA'S election when it was suggested many AFRICAN-AMERICANS were voting for him simply because he was BLACK. Does it ever hurt the AFRICAN-AMERICAN community to BET ON BLACK? MENTAL DIALOGUE asking the questions America's afraid to ask. ALL I ASK IS THAT YOU THINK
