Various Black media pondents weighed in and suggested Smith's reprimand was not only, out of line, but a direct result of his MALE PRIVILEGE. AFRICAN-AMERICAN MEN have been targeted in American society to the extent they are often unaware of the MALE PRIVILEGE that exist for them in comparison to the BLACK WOMAN; or is this a false accusation drummed up by the BLACK FEMINIST movement that asserts BLACK MEN exhibit MALE PRIVILEGE without consequence?
