THE WORLD NEEDS MORE MASONS

Scientists noticed some time ago, that people gained deep satisfaction from acts of kindness toward others.   I like to think before observant scientists wrote it down, people knew.  Why it happens that way, I don't really know. I don't really care to know.  When you consciously try this, noticed the effect for yourself. Maybe expecting it matters?  Maybe it is a primal act that controls our minds.  It is true. Because it is true, it is self-fulfilling.  To my thinking, that process is what makes it an insight of masonic quality.

After the zealots have torn into scriptures and mocked other faiths, we must wonder why one would want to hurt feelings like that?  Though we know there are many claiming to be true believers who twist the care of humanity into a knot of menace and murder- acts of kindness remain possible. 

Social media plying the marketplace.  Our  personal records bought and sold. We hold to accounts the claims of "leaders" and witness their failings. Media isn't the enemy. It is a window of understanding.  

Too many men become isolated, thinking there is no trust, nothing authentic in their world.  But we find strength gathering like-minded  open minded together to ask what can be done to re-balance?

That rebalancing act is what we know as Masonry. Afloat in a sea of tears and fears. Curious, humble students of the Gentle Craft.
