Guest: Abeer Albashiti: Founder of Larimar

Abeer Albashiti is the founder of Larimar, a startup that aims to fuel empathy through AI, coaching, and mentoring. She is a mentor at Bridge for Billions and brinc accelerators. Before being Larimar’s founder, Abeer was an instructor at Luminous Education and was responsible for delivering social science courses for less advantaged students like refugees.

Abeer was a researcher at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), before joining Luminous Education, where she was responsible for building an emotional induction lab and managing all tasks related to emotion detection research.

She worked as a logistics professional at Philadelphia University and was responsible for students’ course plans and schedules. Also worked at Aspire.net Services as a quality assurance analyst and was responsible for reporting bugs, and defining pitfalls scenarios.
Abeer earned a fellowship in innovation and leadership from the UK’s Royal Academy of Engineering, and a TechWomen fellowship from the US’s Institute of International Education (IIE). And, she holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering.

She’ll be sharing how we utilise humanised technology to improve employees’ psychological safety that affect their engagement on all fronts. Our holistic wellbeing boosting model will be discussed and how organisations can adopt it to build their own and then the correlation with employees’ engagement and satisfaction will be elaborated.
