Colombo Chronicles Live with award-winning author and host, Rose Colombo, welcomes, Don Brockett, whose career began as a deputy prosecuting attorney in the Spokane County Prosecuting Attorney's office and eventually worked his way up to the prominent position as Prosecuting Attorney elected from 1970 through 1994. He then entered private practice for 52 years and currently is an Honorary Member of the Washington State Bar Association. One of the most memorable criminal prosecutions was that of Fred Coe, known as the "South Hill Rapist" which hit the news. The trial resulted in several convictions and after the trial, Coe's mother tried to hire a hit man to kill the judge and beat Don Brockett into the state of an "adlepated vegetable."
