We're in the final days of 2024. It seems we just said Happy New Year a few moments ago. In fact, the card didn't seem to have enough time to gather dust but here we are again with the same greeting. It is the final episode of the Saturday Morning Entertainment Show for 2024. And we don't know how people will say that they had a happy and propserous 2024 but we hope that at some point The Saturday Morning Entertainment Show would have brightened your day, week, month and hopefully they year. Along the way we have laughed, cried, grieved, sing and dance and we hope that just being here is something to be delighted about and make the year happy and prosperous despite its lows. So we are still going to wish.you a happy and propserous 2025.

As has been the custom the New Years Day show will get under way on Wednesday January 1, at 10:00. It comes in after the New Years Eve Party. Time to wake up and send greetings and well wishes for 2025 across the world

Today is the third day for the Celebration of Kwaanza which means the festival of the first fruits. Kwaanza takes its cue from African cultural practices. It is meant to recognize the  people operating as a community and celebrated in observance of seven principles. The first day celebrates the principle of Umoja which means Unity. The second day celebrates Kujichagulia which means self determination and today celebrates the principle of Ujima which means collective work and responsibility. Would it make any difference to the quality of life for Black people if they celebrated African cultural observances instead of European holidays?
