Coach Justin Furtado is a passionate basketball coach, mentor, and leader dedicated to helping young athletes grow into leaders both on and off the court. He is the Founder and Director of BTG Basketball, an organization committed to player development and fostering a deeper understanding of the game. In addition to his coaching work, Coach Furtado is the host of the Beyond the Scoreboard Podcast, where he shares insights and stories to inspire athletes, coaches, and parents in the world of youth sports. He currently serves as the JV Basketball Coach for Pacifica Christian Santa Monica, where he inspires and guides his players to reach their full potential. Previously, he was the Head Coach for the Venice High School Boys Frosh/Soph team and a JV/Varsity Assistant Coach, contributing to the team's success, including reaching the LA City Section Division 1 Finals in his first year on staff. Through his coaching, leadership, and storytelling, Coach Furtado continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of young athletes, fostering growth, discipline, and a love for the game.
