Over the past two decades, there has been concern over national equity in learning in public schools. Unfortunately, most of the concern has leaned to the economic and political interest of adults, and not overcoming the learning deficiencies and needs of the population of students who have shown historic academic underachievement. The past year (2020) in America has shed light on a major fact that has long been overlooked by many parents, teachers, organizations, and society as a whole; far too many minority children, Black Males in particular are drowning in some public schools across America. Additionally, social distractions continue to block progress toward turning things around.
